UGCollege ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of every university student, partner college coordinator, and corporate representative who utilizes our services. This Privacy Policy outlines our procedures regarding the collection, use, retention, and protection of your personal and academic information in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 of India.

2. Information We Collect

To deliver certified internship programs and verify institutional seat allocations, we process:

• Academic Record Data: College Admission/Registration Number, Student Name, Father's Name, Enrolled College, Degree Programme, and Batch code provided by your university.
• Student Contact Details: Mobile phone number and verified email address submitted during profile verification.
• Financial Transaction Identifiers: Razorpay Order IDs, Payment Reference Numbers, and invoice timestamps. Note: We do NOT collect or store complete credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, net banking credentials, or UPI PINs; all banking data is processed directly by Razorpay under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
• Technical & Session Data: IP addresses, browser types, session tokens stored in secure in-memory Redis databases, and security check tokens to prevent unauthorized account access.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected data exclusively for the following operational purposes:

• Validating student eligibility against university partner admission lists.
• Allocating corporate internship seats, scheduling training batches, and syncing progress with assigned company coordinators.
• Generating computer-stamped digital tax invoices and official student receipts.
• Issuing verifiable digital certificates bearing tamper-proof cryptographic IDs upon program completion.
• Providing academic progress summaries and seat clearance audits to your college administration.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade student personal information to marketing agencies or advertisers. Data is shared strictly as necessary to execute educational services:

• Partner Colleges: Your designated college coordinators receive enrollment status, attendance updates, and verification reports.
• Corporate Partners: Assigned companies receive student names, registration numbers, and assigned batch details to conduct practical mentoring.
• Payment Gateway (Razorpay): Essential transaction parameters (name, email, contact number, and fee amounts) are transmitted over SSL/TLS encrypted channels to process fee payments.
• Legal & Regulatory Compliance: When required by court order, law enforcement, or applicable statutory mandates within India.

5. Data Security & Storage

We maintain technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data from accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. All web traffic is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3), student account credentials use secure cryptographic hashing algorithms, and session data is isolated using high-speed, protected Redis data stores.

6. Data Retention

Student records, invoice histories, and certificate verification records are retained for the duration necessary to satisfy institutional certification requirements and enable future third-party employer verification.
